The course starts 1140 W 1100 N North Salt Lake, Utah. The course starts at the park, and turns North, on Legacy Trail.  Continue to mile 1.55, or 3.1 and turn around. Just remember to reverse what you did running out.  You’re responsible to follow all traffic and pedestrian laws. If it is snowing, remember to use good judgment and know your abilities. If you need to shorten the distance, please do but let us know so you don’t get DQ’d.

5K runners run to mile 1.55 and turnaround, 10K runners run to mile 3.1 and turnaround.

Aid stations at mile 3.1. There isn’t an aid station for the 5K

10K will start promptly at 8:00 am. 5K at 8:05 am. All courses are the same except for distance length. The ruck is the same as the 5K

IMPORTANT. As stated above, race will start at 8:00 am. It will be a chip start. We will only leave the chip start open for about 3 minutes after the last runner starts. So if you arrive late and run, the chip start will be closed and your time will default to a gun start and you will already have about 20 minutes added to your time. We do this so we can do awards quicker. If we leave the chip start open for 30 minutes, you have to wait 30 minutes after you finish, for your time to be final. To avoid all that, just be on time. Your time doesn't start, until you cross the start line. There is two  hour cutoff, race ends at 10 am

Thank you for your support. We have tried to keep this race at a reasonable price and still make enough money for the food pantry. See you at the races!

Half Marathon

Every aspect of this race, from registration, to packet pickup, to the finish line, was very well-organized. Packet pickup was fast and simple. There were plenty of volunteers handing out gels, Gatorade, and water, as well as porta potties on the course. It was an out-and-back course which made it speedy, but not monotonous at all. Bikers and walkers were on the trails alongside us, but they were never in our way. Highly recommend donating canned goods at the race, it is for an excellent cause!
