Just remember to reverse what you did running out. You’re responsible to follow all traffic and pedestrian laws. If it is snowing, remember to use good judgment and know your abilities. Aid stations at mile 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. We will have Gatorade and water at miles 2 and 8 and 10. Mile 4 and mile 8 will have gels. We will have water at mile 6.55
There will be porta potty’s mile 4 an 8. 5K will not have an aid station, take water with you, if needed. 10K will only have one aid station but you will pass it twice. Once going out and once coming back.
Half will start promptly at 9:00 am. 10K 9:05 and 5K at 9:10. All courses are the same as Half but turns around at mile 1.55 for 5K and mile 3.1 for 10K on Legacy Trail. You may go down in distance but you can't go up. There will be pizza, water, and other food at the finish line. Pizza will arrive about 10:00 If you were in the 5K or 10K and want to wait, you will be allowed to have pizza.
IMPORTANT. As stated above, race will start at 9:00 am. It will be a chip start. We will only leave the chip start open for about 3 minutes after the last runner starts. So if you arrive late and run, the chip start will be closed and your time will default to a gun start and you will already have about 20 minutes added to your time. We do this so we can do awards quicker. If we leave the chip start open for 30 minutes, you have to wait 30 minutes after you finish, for your time to be final. To avoid all that, just be on time. Your time doesn't start, until you cross the start line. There is a three hour cutoff, if you need more time, come to the start line at 8:30 and we can start you. Race ends at 12:00 noon.
Thank you for your support. We have tried to keep this race at a reasonable price and still make enough money for the food pantry. See you at the races!

Half Marathon
Every aspect of this race, from registration, to packet pickup, to the finish line, was very well-organized. Packet pickup was fast and simple. There were plenty of volunteers handing out gels, Gatorade, and water, as well as porta potties on the course. It was an out-and-back course which made it speedy, but not monotonous at all. Bikers and walkers were on the trails alongside us, but they were never in our way. Highly recommend donating canned goods at the race, it is for an excellent cause!

Great 10k
They forgot my t shirt size when I submitted the registration but after sending an email it was quickly updated. The course was flatter than I liked, but I thought it was pretty cool that it followed the Legacy Parkway.
March Madness 5k
I really enjoyed this race! I thought that the course was great; I am a big fan of flat courses. I thought that the race was organized well. Everything went smoothly, and the race started promptly at 9am. I also thought that the way the organizers posted the results, and did the raffle as the race was going was great. This race was also for a good cause, which is a huge bonus. It was a good experience, and I would do it again!
March Madness
Awesome 5k race - well supported - nice folks - well organized - thanks for a fun run
Great Race!
This is a really fun flat course to run a race on. It is a low key race which is nice and there aren't a ton of participants. I love the benefit to the community as well.

GREAT RACE
Great setup, location, simple instructions, and a good all around atmosphere. It’s a great time of year even with it being a little cold and windy.
