My First 5k
Experienced racers told me what to expect for my first 5k, and I'm happy to say that the SoJo Turkey Run exceeded all those expectations. That was a wonderful experience. South Jordan knows what they're doing and they do it right. I can't imagine it being done any better. The course was well marked, and relatively flat. There is one uphill in mile 2 that was a wonderful test and allowed a slight downhill for the first part of mile 3, which was perfect.

My First 5k

It was my first 10k and the course pretty good. It was mostly flat, but one sizable hill was there. The people with the race was friendly and helpful. Well done.

I great race before Thanksgiving. I like the fact the course is the same every year to give you progress year after year. Also, it is challenging because of the steepness of the hill after mile 4. It is a relaxed, fun atmosphere great for the holiday
