Veterans Tribute Run Race Description
The 5K/10K race and 1 mile walk will start at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home, 1102 N. 1200 W., Ogden, and end at First United Methodist Church, 1339 W. 400 N., Marriott-Slaterville. Entry fee includes t-shirt for pre-registered racers, post-race refreshments, age division awards and raffle prizes. Fast and flat, point to point 5K/10K course. All proceeds benefit the activity fund at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home.

Great race
Flat and fast course that started out with a nice flag ceremony and some of the veterans where there. Well organized and course marked well with volunteers on course. There was road construction and lots of help to get thru course. Age group awards were for every 10 years. Lots and lots of raffle prizes. Post race food was good with a chili cook off. Activities for the kids. A shuttle was provided to get back to my car. Thanks for the fun time.
