The race is to help support all types of people that have dealt with the tragedy of Cancer. This race is also made to help fund for further research on Cancer. All members involved in creating this event have had a family member who had to battle some form of Cancer. About 39% of the world's population have some form of cancer. This 5K is to help fund researchers in their quest to find a cure for cancer.
