Pacific Northwest Marathon
Pacific Northwest Marathon Race Description
One of the fastest courses in Oregon, Washington, and California. The out and back course is very flat along the valley floor. Along the way, you get to explore the scenic farmland of the southern Willamette Valley.

I loved this race. Registration was inexpensive & swift. Packet retrieval was flexible. Volunteers were great. This ran through a residential area (0-6), then along Williamette River (6-18), then back to residential. There were volunteers at every turn to make sure you were on track. Mile 6-18 was breath-taking with stunning views. There were ample fluids & amenities. Overall, a great experience coming from PHL. The shirt is nice & the medal is above par. David did an excellent job!

My husband and I loved the small scale of this race, especially the ability for all the family members and friends to celebrate with their loved ones as they crossed the finish line. We loved the run, and we loved witnessing the sweet moments and personal victories. Very well done!

great race

This was such a fun race and the course is flat and beautiful And on a Saturday! So nice if you gather for worship on Sunday or just want a day to recover before returning to work or school on Monday morning. Thank you for the great race.

The event went off without a hitch, there was fantastic entertainment at the finish line and the food provided was amazing. I couldn't be happier with how the race went.
I really enjoyed this course, looking forward to running the full marathon next year!

I think the course is great. It was nice that there were many aid stations so that water/gatorade/gels were available almost anytime that I needed these.

Liked the course. Fast and flat. Ran my fastest marathon yet. I would run this one again. One suggestion after running a few other marathons is have a better kickoff the morning of the race. Hype the crowd. Some sort of sound system would have been great...like how it was set up at the finish line. It was almost anti-climatic at the start. The shirt that came with the race were nice, however, the sizes were not true to size. I was swimming in my medium and that is my size. Won't wear it.

Raced for a BQ.My watch I did,but ran an extra mile due to poor course directions,I did not.Volunteers need to be directing everyone for turns, because little signs don't help,& chalk fades.I've done small races where they had big signs & used cones & also had people directing runners,as we are focused, that it helps they be there to wave us in the right direction.Since every runner is spaced out,it be best to do that.waste of a trip, as I came to run and BQ.Race ruined it for me.

Gorgeous course. Loved the finish line party. It was nice to finish and have everything you desired right at your fingertips. I have never seen a race that didn't have food on the course until mile 18. That took me from running the race of my life to full bonk and nearly dropping from the race. Outside of that all things were great in my opinion. I will do it again(and I am not much of a fan of marathons.)
