Race for Racial Justice Description
It's the YWCA Kaua`i 100 Year Birthday celebration and we are Racing for Racial Justice! Over the past 100 years, the YWCA Kaua`i has worked to address on social and racial justice issues. Your participation in this event will help us further our Racial Justice work. We will keep running until injustice is rooted out; institutions are transformed, and the world sees women, girls and people of color the way we do: Equal, Powerful, Unstoppable.
What: Inaugural 5k virtual run to celebrate the YWCA Kaua`i 100 Year Anniversary.
When: Complete your race any time between April 24 - July 31, 2021 in support of Racial Justice.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (time will be reported).
Cost: $19.99 Kamaaina Rate, $29.99 Everyone not lucky enough to live in Hawaii. Registration fee includes race bib and medal. Medals will be mailed after July 31, 2021.
