Franklin Performing Arts Company 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

The second annual Franklin Performing Arts Company 5K Road Race and 1 Mile Fun Run will begin and end at the company's home THE BLACK BOX.  Along the route, runners will be entertained and encouraged by sidewalk art created by student artists.  THE BLACK BOX theater will feature face painting and finish line sign making for children and a celebration with live music in the theater lobby to celebrate the runners.

Race Information

5K Race start time is 10:00 am.  1 Mile Fun Run starts at 10:05 am. 

Races are timed, not a certified course. 

5K: $25.00 in advance, $35.00 day-of;  the first 75 registrants for the 5K receive a free T-Shirt 

Fun Run:  $10.00 in advance, $15.00 day-of. 

Register to run in advance or at check-in.  Runners can check in beginning at 9:00 am at THE BLACK BOX. 

Free activities will begin at 10:00 am.

There will be 1st-3rd medals for the 1 Mile Fun Run and age group winners for 5K

5K Race Route - on paved roads in mostly residential neighborhood (4.92KM)

Start in alley at 38 Main Street- start race by crossing Main Street on cross walk on to Dean Avenue, Left on Ray St, Right on Emmons Street, Left on Hillside Rd, Left on Crescent St, Left on Martin Avenue, Right on School St, Right on Garfield St, Right on Crescent, Left on Queen Street, Right on Pleasant St, Right on Hillside Rd, Left on Fales, Right on Dean Avenue, Right on Hillside Rd, Left on School St, Right on Garfield, Right on Crescent, Left on Hillside , Right on Fales, Right on Dean Avenue , Cross Main and enter alleyway at 38 Main St

Start in alley at 38 Main Street- start race by crossing Main Street on cross walk on to Dean Avenue,  Left on Ray St, Right on Emmons,  Right on Hillside, Right on Dean , Right on Ray St, Right on Emmons, Right on Hillside, Right on Dean, Cross Main St and enter alley on 38 Main St
