Farmington Community 5K Color Run/Walk Race Description

--- Get ready for a colorful run in the sun! ---

Along this 5K course, you'll be doused in different colors of powder. By the time you reach the finish line, you'll be a walking rainbow monster. And you don't have to run either! This is a family friendly event, so feel free to walk, push a stroller, use a pogo stick, crawl, prance, etc.

Following the race, you'll be served a hot breakfast, after which we'll conclude the event with a Color Bomb. Don't know what that is? Come and find out (heads up: it's messy).

Got young kids? They'll love our Mini Color Run! Shortly after breakfast and before the Color Bomb, we'll give the little kiddos a chance to have their own tiny race around a field, showering them with color all along the way. There is no extra cost for your child to participate in this, but you can purchase additional bags of colored powder if you want to be the one doing the dousing.

Race time starts at 9:00 am SHARP, meet at Forbush Park in Farmington. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Packet pick-up: Friday, May 17th 1 - 7 pm at Farmington Elementary, or Saturday, May 18th between 7:30 am - 8:45 am

Fun, fun, fun!

This is such a fun activity that the kids love and a great way to support their school. They look forward to this color run every spring and gives them motivation to get out and start training beforehand. We are hooked!

A great family event

We have heard about the Color Run for a couple years from family members, and we finally were able to do it. It was such a blast. My hubby pushed our little ones in a jogging stroller, and the others ran along next to us. The kids loved getting splattered with color (it washes off), and they especially loved the color bomb at the end. We'll definitely be doing it next year.

Color run rocks

We absolutely love the color run every year! My kids get so excited to go. It’s much more than just a race. They love the color bombs after the race and I love the silent auction baskets. It is such a great tradition. We’ll be there again this year for sure 😊

A family must-do

The 2018 color run was our first time participating and it has become an annual must-do from now on. Our family loves races and I feel that exercise should be enjoyable. My family and I truly enjoyed the color run! What all better way to motivate youth and encourage running, than having color powders to run through at each station! Plus, there is a silent auction...I hope I win the free Chick-fil-A for a year basket next year! Fingers crossed!
