Shannon STRONG 5K

Hello family, friends and neighbors. We have a great opportunity to show some love for one of our very own… if you have not already, meet Shannon Chapin-Schultz. She has been a Farr West resident for 6 years. She is married to Brent Schultz and together they have 5 boys, 3 of which may have been in your own kids class and or same team in sports. The Schultz are amazing neighbors/friends!!! Last October at the young age of 38 Shannon was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma Cancer (liver bile duct). Since then she has done several rounds of chemotherapy, recently her treatment plan has changed. With lots of hospital and medical expenses, we thought this would be a great time to help… Shannon loves to Hike/Run/Ride and Ice Skate. We will be hosting a 5k on Saturday August 5th (check in) @ 8am. Location-2325 n 2700 w Farr West to show our love and support to her and her family at this difficult time. It would be great to show what an amazing community we live in. This is a family friendly event, with prizes for our top winners, Zeppes for a yummy summer treat and a silent auction at the end.
