Annual Pagosa Nordic Season Opener Race!
Freestyle Race - Competitive 20K, Citizen's 5K and KidK
Awards for top finishers!
Beginners and seasoned racers welcome!
(Participation in the Southwest Nordic Race Series is not required.)
Southwest Nordic Race Series
With the Season Opener Race, Pagosa Nordic Club is participating in the Southwest Nordic Race Series - Six events in the San Juan Mountain region to crown the King and Queen of Nordic Skiing in the Southwest! The races are in Grand Mesa, Pagosa Springs, Chama, Flagstaff, Telluride and Durango.
Scoring System
Three of the six featured races are scored for each racer. Score is based on finishing position (1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, etc.). Top three finishes are averaged. Lowest average score wins!
