Pony Express Days Cupcake Charity 5K Run

Come run the sweetest and fastest 5k around!

All proceeds from the race will go towards medical bills for a family from Eagle Mountain.  This years family is Jeremiah and Brittany Larson and their adorable Brielle.  You can read their story below. 

Race Information

June 1st, 2019

Location: Silver Lake Amphitheater

5K: 7:00 a.m.

Kids Fun Run: 8:00 a.m.

Registration cut off will be May 30th at 10:00 p.m.

5K: $15

Kids Fun Run: $5  Ages 10 & under 

NO day of registrations & NO Refunds!!!

Packet pick up/Check in 

Race day starting at 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 a.m., you can pick up your packet and bib.  

Buses will start departing for the starting line at 6:30 a.m.

Last bus: 6:40 a.m.

Race Course: Race will start at Unity Pass and will follow Pony Express Pkwy.  The race will end at the Silver Lake Amphitheater.

 Larson Family

We are so excited to announce the family who will be the recipient of the Pony Express 5k proceeds - Jeremiah and Brittany Larson and their adorable Brielle.

Jeremiah and Brittany Larson have been married for 5 years and have a 2 year old daughter, Brielle, who was diagnosed with a rare genetic syndrome called Say Barber Biesecker Young Simpson syndrome just after her first birthday. Brielle was born with unexpected medical issues that kept her in the hospital for her first 5 weeks of life. After those 5 weeks, her parents realized that things weren't progressing or changing very quickly so they set up their home to be an extension of the NICU with Brielle being hooked up to the same life-saving machines. Brielle continues to use these machines on a daily basis to help her eat and breathe, but she is also growing stronger each day. Brielle loves people, puppies and music. She radiates joy, has a contagious smile, and "adds a little sweetness" to those around her each and every day.
