NYC Teen Race of Hope 5k Description

A Run/Walk race crafted by runners to make racers of every skill level swoon! Incredible gear, gorgeous finisher medals, Age Division medals, & beautiful NYC Hudson River Park Esplanade race route! Plus, 100% of your donations and fundraising will raise awareness and funds for urgent depression research. 

 

The 2024 NYC Teen Race of Hope 5k to Defeat Depression is a travel-worthy road race built to impress & inspire all who attend. Take your race to the next level by building a team, fundraising, & dedicating your race in honor of someone affected by depression.

 

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Teen Race of Hope has been created by teens with Hope for Depression Research Foundation to:

• Share facts about depression and treatment

• Fight the stigma still surrounding mental health

• Fundraise for advanced research on depression

 

Reinforce connection in school communities, because that is a powerful protective factor in future mental health
