Covid -19 Is a virus that has hit our nation hard with sickness, we’ve have seen several states completely shut down, people not able to work, or are working from home, schools are being closed, health care, and grocery workers working ever so hard to provide food and health care services. We thank them with for being true hero's for their services. Lots of loved ones have been super sick with this. Covid19 has really taken a toll on our minds, bodies, and souls. 

However, we will get through this together, we work together as a nation to pull through this pandemic. As a Race director we’ve had to change our physical Races to Virtual races, which we love to see your results as you run through the finish line, but now we get to see your pictures and times, and let you get out there and make the magic happen in your own time, and come up with creative ways to run your 5k the way you want too. 

Runners don’t let Covid 19 get you down! Don’t let it stop you from staying active and running with your pets.  How do you know if the Mutt Strut Virtual 5k is right for you? If you own a dog, and you can walk, run, jog, or hike. Then this Run is for you.   

We bring our pets everywhere with us - they are our family; and our family loves to do outdoors of All kinds of  activities with them . It’s good for the soul as well as for our bodies! so why not have your fur babies join you on your Mutt Strut Virtual 5k.

WHAT IS A VIRUAL RUN?

There's not even an official starting line.

That's the kind of flexibility offered by virtual races, a new trend in the running community. Runners who sign up for a virtual race register online and simply choose their own starting line, whether it's a treadmill or a neighborhood street. You will run the race distance, upload their finishing time and a few days later are mailed a medal.

THIS IS HOW OUR MUTT STRUT VIRTUAL RUN WORKS:

1. SIGN UP FOR THE MUTT STRUT VIRTAUL 5K/2 ML 

2.GET YOUR PET ON A LEASH, AND START YOUR RUN, WALK, JOG, HIKE, OR BE CREATIVE ON A WAY TO GET 3.1 MILES/2 ML.

3. AFTER YOU'VE FINISH YOUR RUN, UPLOAD A PICTURE OF YOU , YOUR PET, AND FINISHING TIME THRU THE RACE ENTRY RESULTS PORTAL. 

4. EACH PARTICIPANT WILL THEN RECEIVE A DOG TAG MEDAL IN THE MAIL. 

5. WE WILL BE POSTING ALL PICTURE TO OUR FACEBOOK MUTT STRUT VIRTUAL 5K/2MILE GROUP PAGE, SO FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK AT  Tear'N It Up Events
