What This Race Does For SSC

My family has participated in this race for 2 years now. The journey to get to the point we could do the race was long and painful. Our sweet 13 year old daughter Ciara passed away from complications from having Sickle Cell Anemia on January 1,2001. We run in her memory ,we run for a cure and we run to get people educated about this deathly disease. Get a blood test before you plan to start a family.
