Liam Traynor

Dear Friends & Neighbors,
In conjuction with The John & Christine Tortorella Foundation, we are planning a 5K Fun Run/Walk and Family Barbeque scheduled for June 18th, 2016. The event is being held to assist Liam Traynor and the Traynor Family raise funds required to help purchase a wheelchair accessible van and help make an ADA accessible bedroom/bathroom for Liam to live comfortably. Liam was born prematurely, along with his twin sister, at 28.5 weeks; weighing only three pounds and only 16 inches long. Liam faced many medical challenges and, after spending sixty-eight days in the NICU, his weight dropped to only two pounds and he was subsequently diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Throughout Liam’s adolescent years he has had several hip surgeries and intensive physical therapy to regain strength and mobility. From the age of two, Liam has always faced each and every obstacle with a smile and a determined outlook.
