HERoes in Deed HERo Run

Join us for this year's HERo Run 5K/10K run/walk on June 10, 2023, in Warwick, NY, and help us celebrate the life and memory of our HERo and Warwick, NY, native, US Army LTC Jaimie Leonard, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 8, 2013. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Jaimie's death and we want it to be special. Come out with friends and family and "Embrace the Suck"! Participants can run or walk the beautiful USATF-certified 5K or 10K courses in Warwick or plot their own course and share the results. We are also adding a special event this year - the 10-day Unlimited Challenge - in honor of the 10th anniversary. Sign up for this virtual event and start logging your miles from May 31st through June 9th. Individuals and Teams with the most miles will receive special recognition. You can sign up for both the 10-day virtual challenge and the 5K/10K at a discounted rate. This annual event enables HERoes in Deed to continue to provide scholarships to Warwick HS students, support military and Veteran programs, and honor hometown HERoes "in deed" throughout the year. All participants receive a race t-shirt and the first 300 to register get a commemorative challenge coin. As always there is a virtual option, so you can still participate even if you can't be there. Virtual participants register by April 1st to ensure you'll have your shirt in time for this event! (Shipping charges will apply.)
