Farnum Five.5 Race Description

The Farnum Five.5 miler begins with a fast class VI road wide trail for the first 1+ miles. The course then turns the heat up with a short steep climb to the ridge. With tired lungs and legs, you then get to cruise along the scenic ridge and shaded canopy for the next 3 miles. After reaching the power line clearing (where you can catch a glimpse of Mt Ascutney in the distance if you dare look up) you reach a fast downhill finish. This race is all about having a good time for all. The best prizes are saved for the raffle that all racers and volunteers are eligible for. Prizes are sponsored by Poverty Lane Orchards (directly across the street), and Huberts Outfitters. All proceeds go to Lebanon Recreation and Parks.
