Join Us for the 3rd Annual DK Movement Cares 5K Run/Walk!

Event Details:
Date: August 23, 2025
Venue: The Bridge Community Church, 43 School Street, Bristol, CT.
Race Schedule: Sponsor and Vendor setup at 6:00am
7:00 AM- 8:30 AM- Check-in and Registration
8:30 AM: Free Fun Run starts – perfect for our younger runners.
8:45 AM: Fitness walkers begin.
8:50 AM: Runners line up
9:00 AM: Main race kicks off!
Award ceremony to follow. Event ends at 2pm.

Registration Includes:
Participation medal, first 200 registrants will receive a t-shirt and swag bag.
Registration Fee Runners: $30 + runsignup fee
Registration Fee Fitness Walkers: $25 + runsignup fee

Overall Male and Female Winners:
1st Place: $200 & Medal
2nd Place: $100 & Medal
3rd Place: $50 & Medal

All group winners will be presented with a group trophy, with the winning school earning a perpetual trophy to be displayed and passed on to the subsequent year's victors.

In addition, a challenging hill competition: secure a top 15 finish to compete for the King and Queen of the Hill title, with winners taking home $50 and a plaque. Age-group medals 1st, 2nd and 3rd place also up for grabs.

Live Running Results See your results live on our TV screen.
Awards ceremony post-race. To claim cash prizes, runners must be present.

Proceeds & Impact:
This year our race will directly benefit our Minds & Motion Plus Youth Program, which is dedicated to helping teens overcome challenges such as anxiety, communication issues, and lack of motivation. Our program focuses on empowering youth to improve their communication skills, set meaningful goals, and engage in physical activities that build confidence and resilience. We are in collaboration with the Meriden New Britain Berlin YMCA in which participants of the program will receive a 1-year youth membership along with attending our impactful 10- week program!
