The BAREFOOT FOR AFRICA 5k/Walk will be held at the Orem Fitness Center on Sept. 22, 2018. Participant’s are encouraged to donate a pair of shoes after the race and yes of course you can RUN with YOUR shoes on should you prefer*

Pre Race Package Pickup on Race day @7:00am

- 9:00 AM Race Start
- 9:45 Kids 1 Mile Run
- 10:00 Awards Ceremony, African Dancer Performance
When you sign up, you are also paying the entry fee for a FELLOW RACER in Ghana, WEST AFRICA who will be running IN THE Kukuom 5k in November 2018. Entry Fee is $25.00
You will be able to see PHOTOS of the individual African runners, live news coverage, and maybe even your shoes going faster than they ever have GONE ONLY ON Ghanaian Roads! You will get an awesome T shirt from HART to celebrate your support of our dear friends across the globe. All proceeds will go towards the HART MEDICAL Mission in November and the Kukuom HART 5 K race. Come out for a completely unique race and AND EXPERIENCE THE UNCOMMON AS YOU BECOME part of a wonderful HUMANITARIAN cause.

I suggest having a volunteer at every turn in the road. I suggest unwrapping the participation medal and placing on each finisher as they finish. I suggest adding an aid station at the 2 mile mark. Please add a chip timer too.
