Veterinary Emergency Group Announces 2^nd Annual VEG Cares 5K to Benefit Local Pets

Pet and family friendly event to support underserved pets across the U.S.

What: On Saturday, October 29, the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is hosting its 2^nd Annual VEG Cares 5K to support underserved pets across the U.S. Halloween costumes are encouraged at this festive 5 K that is pet and family friendly.

Who: VEG Cares is VEG’s charitable program that helps underserved pets in local communities across the country. VEG Cares runs 100% on donations to provide life-saving care to pets in need at all VEG hospitals, including pets with families facing financial distress, animals displaced by natural disasters, police, service and fire animals, and animals under the care of a shelter or rescue organization. 

When: Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.

How: All 5K registration proceeds go directly to VEG Cares. Registration for adults is $30, children under 17-years-old is $5 and furry family members are free. You can register by visiting:
