YFC Joker run

Due to continued concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus, Central NY Youth for Christ has decided that we need to change the format of the 7^th Annual 5K Joker Run/Walk. We are switching it to a “VIRTUAL” event. This is an important fundraiser for our Teen Center in Unadilla, NY.

• For your safety, ALL registrations will be completed online at: https://www.raceentry.com/races/yfc-joker-run/2020/register

• Registration will be opened on May 4.
• Once registered for the 5K run or walk, you can complete your 5K run or walk anytime and anywhere beginning Friday, May 15 through Monday, May 25, 2020.

• Your 5K run or walk can be completed on a route of your choice. To make it fair to each participant we are trusting that you will run or walk a measured 3.1 mile/5k distance.
• After you complete your run/walk, we encourage you to share your photos with us. These can be shared on the Central NY YFC Facebook page. 
• We will be awarding a prize donated by “thirty-one” to the overall fastest male and female runners and 1^st place medals to winners in various age categories. Other prizes will include: 2 for best costumes, one for the registrant from furthest away, plus others. 
• Directions for submitting your results will be placed on the Central NY YFC Facebook page and the  webpage www.cnyyfc.org/events starting on May 15th.
• When you register be sure to provide telephone number, email, age, address and T-shirt size. A T-shirt is included in the registration price.
• The prizes/awards and T-shirts will be available for pickup sometime in mid-June and that information will be posted on Facebook and the web page listed above. 
• Have fun - being safe is always number one. PLEASE ABIDE by the ISSUED SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES.
• Since this is now a virtual event, it is a great opportunity for you to invite friends and family from around the country to register and participate. 

• How to submit your results for the 2020 Joker run.

   After you have run your 5k for the 2020 Joker Run go to your confirmation email that you received after you entered the race and open the email. In the lower left area of your confirmation you will see the “Edit Your Registration” box. Click that box it will take you to the Participant Dashboard:

  Click on the Submit Race Results Icon which will take you to the Submit results page, enter your time in this format – 00:00:00. You must enter 00 for the hour category even if your time is less than 1 hour. You do not have to enter an image proof, but feel free to if you like. CAUTION: you cannot edit your time once it is submitted.
