Wolf Pack Trail Run Race Description

Who is ready to be Bonged?!

Bong State Recreational Area is the home of the Wolfpack Trail Run & Relay in Kansasville, WI (just outside of Kenosha) and the trails full of color will be waiting for you!

Those looking for a trail route that will give a little bit of everything, here you go! We have modified our course from previous years and will be focusing on a 3.65-mile loop around Wolf Lake. The trails are double-wide in most sections, a combination of woods & prairie surfaces either grass or dirt and yes there are just a few hills.

In addition to all of our solo runners, you're welcome to run this event as a relay team as well. Distance for this event will range from 3.65 miles to 36.5 miles, with distance increments of 3.65 miles. Walkers and those running a 15-minute mile pace of slower are welcome to go up to 7 loops.

This will be an ideal event for those attempting their first ultra as we will not have a cut off time, manageable loop so you do not have carry water/drinks or food.

We will have one full-blown aid station and another aid station with water and energy drink at roughly the 2-mile mark.

Temperatures should be ideal and our laidback encouraging nature will allow you to feel right at home the entire time.

Regardless of the distance, you will have a great time surrounded by like-minded trail loving runners and walkers.

As always we will have some great swag to purchase to remember the day.

You will need a WI State Parks to enter the park or purchase a daily pass for the day.

Camping is also available at Bong...

XCThrillogy proudly offers RUNSURANCE for many of their events.  If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can defer your entry to the next year's event, run a similarly priced event, or get 80% of your entry fee refunded.  To take advantage of this offer, simply select "RUNSURANCE" as an option during the event registration.  If you do miss an event in which you have purchased RUNSURANCE, a member of the Kenosha Running Company staff will contact you about your options.
