Whitefish Point Marathon Race Description
New course for 2017, USATF certification number MI16059NM. The start is located near the finish and the dogleg on Vermilion Road is shortened accordingly. The remainder of the course is the same as before. The mile makers were located with the jones counter during the measuring process. An Earlybird fee structure has been instituted for this year and registration opened on October 1. The Whitefish Point Marathon is another event sponsored by the Paradise Area Chamber of Commerce and is staffed entirely by volunteers from the area. The fast and scenic course produced 16 Boston Qualifiers in 2016 representing 23.5% of the finishers and there were also many first time marathon finishers ...
