Westbrook Trail Race - WHS Class of 2019 Fundraiser Description

There will be a trail race on May 12th to raise money for the Westbrook High School class of 2019!  This will be a rain or shine event. If it rains we will have fun in the rain and strongly encourage people to bring towels to wipe all the mud away! 

 

This will be a family event, fun for all ages! For safety reasons we do ask that children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult.  The trail is all natural and uncontrollable.  Our first goal is to ensure everyone has a great safe race!

 

The cost will be:

$20 for adults

$16 for children 12 and under, seniors (62 +), and students of Westbrook High School

 

Sign-in at Westbrook Community center will begin at 8 am, please sing-in to be given your timer.  At the sign-up table we will have you sign a waiver. The race will begin at 9am.

We will provide food and water for all runners before and after the race to keep everyone hydrated and full of fun loving energy!

Really fun course

This is the first year of this trail race. Admittedly, I am the designer of the course :). This course is a blast! 90% single track, lot's of up and down (around 600 ft of climb), some mud, two (small) stream crossings. Run it or walk some it will be fun! It has been wheel measured, but not certified as a 5K. Please come out and support the Westbrook HS class of 2019. Thanks!
