This 5K / 10K training program is designed to help beginning runners get off the couch and complete their first 5K or maybe their first 10K. We know that 3.1 or 6.2 miles can seem daunting-we’re here to help you each step of the way. For 8 weeks, you’ll meet with fellow runners to train and gain confidence with the help of an experienced running coach and mentor. Training runs are geared towards the goal of running the Father’s Day 5K / 10K on June 16th, where you and other runners can celebrate your success together! Information on race day preparation, nutrition, proper footwear selection and creating an individualized running plan will be provided. For ages 14 and up.
Training runs begin April 27th!
Come 1 or both days each week:
Fridays 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
(Speed & Strength work)
Saturdays 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
COST: If registered for the Father’s Day 5K or 10K - $25
