Thin Mint Sprint Fun Run

Help the Girl Scouts earn a trip to Houston to explore the Space Center! 

The Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails Thin Mint Sprint 5K and Tagalong Trot 1-Mile will be held on Sunday, November 4th at 1pm.  All runners, walkers, first-time racers, Girl Scouts, families and friends are welcome to join in the fun! 

All race day participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medals for both the 5K and 1-Mile. All virtual runners  (run from the couch) will receive a t-shirt and bib. All registered Girl Scouts K-12 will receive a free patch. The top three 5K males and females in each standard age group will be awarded their favorite box of cookies. Additional awards will be given to the overall male and female in both the 5K and 1 mile. Join us at the conclusion of both races for the Awards Ceremony and Post-Party Celebration, including unlimited Girl Scout cookies!

This is a rain or shine event and entry fees are non-refundable.

Event details and schedule

This is a cross country track.  

Thin Mint Sprint 5K run: 1:00 p.m.
Thin Mint Sprint 5K walk: 1:30 pm
Tagalong Trot 1-mile: 2:00 pm

Packet Pickup: Held at a location TBA on Nov 2, in the evening and in the morning of race day.

Arrival Time: For the Thin Mint Sprint, we encourage those who have picked up their packets in advance to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your race time. For those who haven't picked up their packets, we ask that you arrive at least half an hour prior to the first event time.

Parking: Use the entrance on the north side of the Albuqueruque Academy using Harper. Proceed to the parking area. Once Parked walk to the cross country track area.
