The FORGE Beer Mile 2 Race Description

The 2nd FORGE Beer Mile event is coming!  The popular running event is finally upon us- Saturday, September 14th! 

This time around we will be raising money for the Dream Ride and Hometown Foundation!  A portion of every event entry and every t-shirt sold will go to supporting the annual Dream Ride event, hosted by the Hometown Foundation.  For more information on Dream Ride, check out the website:

Run for your personal best or just run for fun!

For those who don't know, the Beer Mile is a sacred fitness event that garners a whole lot of bragging rights and is a ton of fun!  

The event consists of each participant consuming a 12 oz. beer before completing a 400m run-  4 beers + 4 laps = 1 Beer Mile!  

First heat will start at 10:00a and will go every 30 minutes after.  Heats will continue to be added based on registration numbers.

Event will be held rain or shine!

RULES:
The participant must completely finish the beer inside of the designated drinking area and demonstrate an empty cup before proceeding on the 400m.  Kinsmen Brewing will be serving up one of their excellent drafts for participants and spectators alike.  The draft for participants is still being determined but it will be a lighter style pilsner or blonde ale, possibly Milldale Light.
    Every participant will receive:
        *4 draft beers (pilsner or lighter equivalent from Kinsmen Brewing)
        *Commemorative stadium cup
        *FORGE wristband
        *Photo booth picture
        *Bragging rights and personal pride of accomplishment

Registration:
There are two (2) registration options for Beer Mile 2- registration with an event shirt included and one without!
1. Participants who want an event shirt can register for $45.00 and still receive all of the items mentioned above
2. Participants who want to register without the event shirt can use code "NOSHIRT" to register for the run for $30.00

Event t-shirts available the day of the event!

Plus, don't forget about The FORGE Functional Fitness's Monday night Beer Runs, starting every Monday night at 6:15 p.m.
