Team Tri Faster-Aquathon Mixed Relay Party Race Description
ITU Aquathon Worlds has been canceled for 2021,
but the FUN is still on!
What - Everyone will be placed in teams of ~5-6 athletes for a 2-hour Aquathon (Swim/Run) relay. You can swim only, run only, or do both. The team that completes the most full Aquathons during the two-hour period of time will WIN valuable prizes that may come from luxury retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Nordstroms, Dollar Store, or Tri Faster Storage Closet! The swim loop will be ~300m and the run/walk loop will be ~1 kilometer. Each team will have one person serving as a safety person on the water at all times - this duty can rotate between teammates. Family members are welcome.
When - Saturday Sept 11, 2021, 9:00am-Noon
Time schedule:
8:50-9:00am - Arrive and gather at Coach Lauren’s driveway
9:00-9:30am - Walk down to the beach and organize/strategize with your team
9:30-11:30am - Team Aquathon Relay
11:30-12:00am - Post-event party and awards. Please bring snacks to share, preferably individually wrapped. Water, Gatorade, and paper products will be provided.
