Taking Strides For Prevention 5k - Our Cause

In 2014, Miamisburg High School Student Government joined with a former Miamisburg student to start a mission to raise awareness for prevention of child abuse and reach out to victims of child abuse by showing them how to persevere! This year, the Taking Strides For Prevention 5k is coming back to MHS on March 19, 2022 at 10:00AM.  MHS Student Government is partnering with the Dayton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority to host           this event to raise awareness for the prevention of child abuse. 80% of proceeds will go to Care House of Dayton, our community’s advocacy center for victims of abuse and neglect, and 20% will go to Prevent Child Abuse America, whose mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children.
