Stomp Out Hunger 5K & Fun Walk plus Cork Hunt

Our 4th Annual “Stomp Out Hunger” 5k Run and Fun Walk will be on SUNDAY OCTOBER 13TH! The 5K timed Run or Walk will start at 11 am. The Fun Walk with Cork Hunt (new this year) will start at 11:45 am and will have a fun set of awards including most corks, oldest walker, best costume, best socks and most festive.  Feel free to start shopping for those funky socks!   After there will be music & food for purchase.  With registration you will you get to run/walk the amazing Blue Ridge vineyard, take a break at our wine/water recharge station, enter a chance to win amazing raffle items, and receive your own “Stomp Out Hunger" t-shirt and branded wine glass with free wine tasting! (Wine glass & tasting is 21 and older only. (Age 20 and under will get a race medal for participation).  This is an amazing opportunity to enjoy the Winery, raise money to buy food for the pantry and put the spotlight on hunger in our area. The cross-country course is a loop around the rolling hills of the vineyard through the vines.  

Last day to register to be guaranteed a t-shirt is 10/7/19 by midnight.  Registration opens at 9:30 am day of the race.   Allow time to get your race packet.  Award ceremony will begin at approx. 12:30 pm.  Walk ins are welcomed with cash or check.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the West End Food Pantry and their efforts to help struggling families in the area. Join us for an amazing event and delightful day at Blue Ridge Winery while supporting a great cause!
