South West Missouri Juneteenth 5k Freedom Run/Walk Celebration

The United Community Change Freedom Celebration Walk  is diverse in culture, educational and progressive. An opportunity for you to be apart of  the change that promotes community unity and diverse and inclusive civic participation, increase non partisan  community knowledge and the amount of diverse people to act on their legal right to vote locally and nationally in upcoming elections; All while celebrating the history and holiday that laid the foundation of those rights. 

*** 20% of all proceeds will go toward supporting minority and disadvantaged children in the local area to go to any extra curricular program activities of their choice in order to increase opportunities, promote healthy, active minority lifestyles, and meet our goal to increase local extra curricular program diversity for children. ***

5K DEI RUN Virtual Participants: = $25

You get the flexibility of running your race wherever you feel comfortable. If you want to support but want to take safer precautions this is for you. You will get all the goodies in a virtual format and be sent a T-shirt and a medal and a printable Award certificate.  Its all based on the honor system. So, record your race time when you are finished and don't forget to come back for race time results to see the winners both here and in the Facebook group.
