Shine for Chad 5K Run/Walk

The Horman family has lived here in Enoch for 8 years. They have been involved in many community efforts including; volunteer work for Enoch Elementary school and Canyon View High School, the Old School Library, Boy Scouts and the Cedar City bike club.

In March of 2015 Chad was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and started treatment in a simple daily form. All was well until April of this year when the treatment stopped working and his cells went into a serious blast faze. Due to this sudden change, doctors suggested traditional chemotherapy treatments along with a bone marrow transplant.

Chad has now gone through the progressive treatments as planned but is still under doctor’s care. He is on his way toward recovery.  But, as with all significant health issues medical bills become burdensome. The family sincerely thanks all of those in the community who are participating in this fundraiser who, out of the kindness of your hearts, are helping to lessen their financial burden at this time.
