Run Your Socks Off Race Description
Put on your fun silly socks and walk/run during the 4th Annual Run Your Socks Off Event!
NEW THIS YEAR! One mile option and updated course!
The Run Your Socks Off event is a family friendly walk/run that offers something for everyone. Competitive runners, casual joggers, walkers and strollers are all welcome for either a 5K distance or 1-Miler. All registered participants will receive a race shirt and goody bag if registered by May 10 and then while supplies last. Food and drink will be available after the race. Race starts at 8:30 am rain or shine.
COURSE: Flat, leaving Swallow School through Four Winds subdivision and paved trail. Both 5K and one mile are chip timed.
COST: Early registration $25 individual/$85 family. After May 6, $30 individual/$105 family. One mile is $20 early/$25 after May 6.
AWARDS: 5K Overall male & female finisher awards. Medals awarded to the overall male and female winner and to the top three places in each age category as follows: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, and every 5 years to 59 then 60+. The Swallow School homeroom with the most participants will win a party.
RACE BIB/BAG PICK UP: Endurance House 2736 Hillside Dr, Delafield WI 53018 during store hours on Thursday, May 16 and Friday May 17. Race morning at event between 7:15-8:15am.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS/PARKING: Both distances will start and end at Swallow School, located at the corner of Hwy K and Hwy E in Hartland WI, W299 N5614 County Road E, Hartland WI 53029. Parking will be at the school and adjacent lots.
ONE MILER: Same start and finish as 5K; look for signs for one-mile distance route. All finishers receive a ribbon.
HEALTH FAIR & SPONSOR EXHIBIT: Starts at 8:00 am.

Nice flat course, well organized, good sponsor fair, fun race! Nice to see so many people from all fitness levels, (elite runners to walkers) coming out to enjoy a little community health, wellness, and fun.
