Run for the Dogs 5k 5K features a scenic course and proceeds from this event support Tails Humane Society! Join us on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 9:00 am for an exciting "Run for the Dogs Themed" event! Run for the Dogs 5k Mutt Strut is a dog-friendly 5K run/walk-a-thon benefiting the over 2,800 animals cared for each year at Tails Humane Society. The race route follows the DeKalb Nature Trail, beginning and ending at beautiful Hopkins Park. Enjoy a scenic run with friends or family while benefiting homeless animals. Join us and run for the rescues! With awesome swag for all dog lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great doggy good time! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.
