CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles) (non-competitive run/walk)
- Virtual (you choose when & where you run/walk)
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
- 6:45 - 7:45 Packet pick up/check in/registration
- 8:00 Pre-race meeting
- 8:30 Gun time
- 11:30 Awards
- 12:00 Luncheon

Wachapreague Carnival Grounds, Atlantic Ave, Wachapreague, VA 23480
- FROM THE SOUTH:
Chesapeake Bay Bridge North
US Route 13 North
Take Route 180 East towards Wachapreague
Follow Route 180 into the Town of Wachapreague to STOP sign
Left at STOP sign - Atlantic Avenue
Proceed to carnival grounds ahead on left
- FROM THE NORTH:
US Route 13 South
Take Route 180 East towards Wachapreague
Follow Route 180 into the Town of Wachapreague to STOP sign
Left at STOP sign - Atlantic Avenue
Proceed to carnival grounds ahead on left
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- T-shirt (HM, 10K, 5K, Virtual)
- Finish medal (HM, 10K, 5K, Virtual)
- Bib (HM, 10K, 5K, Virtual)

- Results & photos posted on official website (http://www.runfortheanimals.com)
- Trophy by division (HM, 10K)
- No duplicate awards
- Age determined by age on race day
- Awards for top fundraisers
- Post race celebration
- Baby joggers/strollers welcome
- Must keep bib visible on your front
- Run/Walk against/facing traffic
- Aid stations on all courses (water and gatorade)
- All distances with or without your leashed canine companion
- Dogs must be leashed at all times
- Please keep your dog away from other participants and traffic
- Doggie water available at aid stations on all courses
- Note that cellphone service is spotty in this area
- Rain or shine
- Sorry no refunds
- RFTA reserves the right to modify/cancel due to severe weather
This is a charity event.
All net proceeds support the animal orgs who serve the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
