Run For Dom 5K

n 2017 Sussex Tech experienced the sudden loss of Dominick Cecere. This young man was a dedicated athlete and an exceptional student. Dom ran for the Sussex County Technical Schools's cross country team, winter track team, and the spring track team. Dom was a member of each team from the start of his freshman year, there was nothing more he loved than running. As well as being a dedicated athlete Dominick was on track to graduate in the top 15% of his class. The proceeds from the race will be put toward a scholarship given to a student from Sussex Tech who represents the qualities of Dom. The scholarship will be awarded to a senior who participates in at least two sports. One of those sports must either be track or cross country. This year our school is working together to honor Dom by creating a 5K in his name. Dominick loved running and Sussex Tech is honored to dedicate a race in his name.
