rad trail series- hammel woods 3 miler

RAD, short for "Running & Drinks" is a new 3 race trail series taking place at some of our favorite Will County Parks.  

The race series and dates consists of;

February 29th @ Hammel Woods. Shorewood, IL  3 Miler. 9:00 am start time

March 28th @ Sugar Creek Preserve. Joliet, IL 5 Miler. 9:00 am start time

May 3rd @ Mckinley Woods Preserve. Channahon, IL. 4 Miler. 9:00 am start time 

Our two race sponsors are DNA Active Lifestyle Outfitters and Revolution Brewing Company.  Each race will include:

-Official timing with age group results

-Rustic finishers medals

-Race T- Shirt 

- A cold beer from Revolution Brewing (Under 21 not allowed to the free sample)

- Warm food. (Each race will serve something a bit different to pair with your beer)

Cost of each race is: $40 dollars 

Participants who complete all three races will receive a $20 gift card to DNA Active Lifestyle Outfitters. 

Packet Pick up is not mandatory as you can pick up your packet the morning of the event starting @ 7:30 am.  However, if you wish to pick up your packet ahead of time it will be available Thursday and Friday for pick up @ DNA in Downtown Plainfield. 

The first race in our series will be out Hammel Woods in Shorewood, IL. Enter from Rt 59 and you will find the packet pick up table under the first parking lot pavilion on the left. The 3 mile course will be on dirt trails with some challenging hills.
