United Nations Day Race

Please join us for our annual 5K/10K event to celebrate United Nations Day! This year’s theme will be Gender Equality.

Complete your run virtually anytime before October 26, 2024. The in-person event will take place on October 26, 2024 at 11AM in Central Park, meeting on Bridge No. 27 in Central Park and utilizing the reservoir loop.

 Run, bike, or walk with us as we celebrate the UN’s anniversary and recognize its tireless efforts to create a world in which everyone thrives in peace, dignity, and equality on a healthy planet.

The event is both virtual and in-person, which means you may complete it at any time before October 26th, anywhere in the world, or you can meet in person on October 26st at 11AM in Central Park. You can either run, walk, or bike, and choose between two distances: 5K and 10K. 

The event is sponsored by the United Nations Association of New York and the remaining proceeds will go to supporting their work and mission. Please visit unanyc.org for more information about UNA-NYC and the many events they host yearly!

*Please note, we will not be sending race medals this year, but instead, will be canvassing interest in them for next year's event.  

You have the option to purchase a unique UN Day Race shirt during registration. This will be the only option to get this one-of-a-kind shirt, so don't forget to select your size when registering!
