Steven Snow's Superhero Fun Run Race Description
Our friend Steven Snow has experienced a tragic accident. He was badly burnt, causing him to sustain 3rd degree burns to 65% of his body. He has spent 3 months being treated at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. He is now starting the long road to recovery in a therapy unit at Community North Rehabilitation Hospital.
In an effort to help lighten the financial burden for Steven, we are holding a FAMILY FRIENDLY fun run. We are asking the whole family to come together as we raise awareness, not only for Steven, but others who have been affected by a burn event. We encourage families to wear their favorite superhero items. There will be a costume contest for the children, with prizes being awarded for several categories!
The race itself is about 1-1.5miles. It winds through a beautiful field and small wooded area! Jogging strollers can make it through this course but we suggest not using umbrella strollers. However, carriers would be the best option for little ones!
