MyBFF 5K/8.13K

Welcome to the Sixth Annual My BFF 5K/8.13K Walk supporting My Best Friends Foundation. This event raises money to support Friends fighting cancer and families who’ve lost someone to it. We walk in honor of Rod Wittig and Sharon Berryhill.

Rod would have turned 50 on August 13, 2020. The 8.13K distance is about 5.0 miles...which is a meaningful way to honor his memory.

This year's walk will take place on August 9, 2025, at Judson University (1151 N. State St., Elgin, IL). You can walk or run in person or virtually. The event starts at 9:30 AM. (Please arrive at least 30 minutes early.)

Registration Info:

• Early registration: $35 through July 20, 2025
• After July 20: $40
• Extra shirts: $25 each
• All paid registrations include a walk t-shirt
• In-person: pick up on event day
• Virtual: shirts will be mailed (YOU MUST REGISTER BY JULY 20 TO GET YOURS ON TIME!)

Can’t make it? You can still support us:
