Welcome to the first year of the Run, Walk & Roll!!!
This is a race for people of all abilities. The inspiration behind this race is found in the 4 minute youtube video below:
Know anyone with a disability? Bring them along with you and help them experience the thrill of a race! Make them the "rock star" of the race by coming to support them with the run.
Don't know anyone with a disability? Come run anyways to support others who will be coming to participate in this race.
This is a fun and easy 5k run around North Logan City and a 1 mile walk in Elk Ridge Park, in beautiful Cache Valley.
Same day registration will be from 8:00 to 8:30 the morning of the race. All registrants will receive a race packet with a cotton t-shirt and a race bib (details to come about where to pick up race packets).
The proceeds of this race will go to support USU's Up to 3 program (www.upto3.org), which serves families with children 0-3 years old who have disabilities.
We encourage you to get dressed up in "rock star" outfits to win different prizes from our local sponsors! There will be several prizes for those who dress up so be as creative as you want.
Come support people with disabilities by running alongside them, pushing them in wheelchairs or just cheering them along! You may be surprised at how many new friends you make. This event is specifically designed to shine the spotlight on the people with disabilities and medals will only be given to those who have disabilities for finishing the race. Results will be posted for all runners who participate and prizes are available to all who are registered through a raffle the day of the race.
Bounce houses will be available for younger children and North Logan City will be launching and opening their brand new splash pad for the first time that morning. (North Logan City helped the Up to 3 program raise funds for this new splash pad in 2015).
Stay connected on social media to know what prizes will be available, we have had a lot of donations pour in!
