Join Fifth Third Bank, the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of Tennessee (EANGTN) & the National Guard Association of Tennessee (NGATN) in honoring our State and Nation's Service Members (currently serving and past served).
EANGTN & NGATN are professional organizations to which our TN Guardsmen/women, Civilian Supporters, and Corporations may voluntarily belong. The Associations advocate on behalf of our Service Members, to ensure they receive the benefits and rights they deserve for the sacrifices they've made for our Nation. This event will raise funds that will allow EANGTN & NGATN to continue fighting for our Service Members interests, provide scholarship opportunities, and grants to our Service Members going through financial hardships.
ONLINE REGISTRATION: Online registration is now open! Online registration for all registration levels will be open until November 4, 2016. T-shirts can be purchased on-site race day for those wishing to do so.
ON-SITE REGISTRATION: On-site registration will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the race, November 12, 2016.
EVENT SCHEDULE: Race Day is Saturday, November 12, 2016. Race will kick off at 9:00 a.m. Check-In and packet pick-up will be held the morning of the event - Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
COURSE INFO: Please see our course map in the photo gallery. The course will begin in front of the building located at 250 8th Ave in Smyrna and run onto the TN National Guard post. The course runs parallel to the Smyrna Airport hangars and a few static displays are located throughout. There is a turnaround point on base and the finish line is where the start line began. It is a flat course.
ARRIVAL INFO: Participants may begin arriving at 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, please be sure to check-in and pick up your race packets. Event sponsors will have booths set up for participants to visit.
PARKING INFO: To be announced.
WAIVERS & ID: Please be sure to bring ID with you to check-in. All race participants will be required to show ID and sign a waiver.
WHAT TO BRING: Race will be held rain or shine. So, you may want to bring appropriate rain gear.
WHAT TO WEAR: Your best Patriotic and/or Red, White, and Blue outfit/costume/gear! (Reminder: please dress appropriately for you and others to safely run course)
FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT! Children, strollers, pets welcome!
KID'S FUN RUN - 100 Meter Dash: There will be a post-race 100 meter dash fun run across the street at the parade field track, in which children may participate for $5. Kid's Fun Run will begin at about 10:00a.m.
Other children activities: There will also be face painting, cornhole, and other games throughout the race!
