No Child Wet Behind Maine Race Description
This diaper drive and 5k benefits your local community, with all diapers collected going to the JCA. The JCA is Southern Maine's chapter of the national diaper bank and provides resources to families who can not afford adequate diapers for their children. This effects 1 in 3 families and can cause great strain and heartache for parents and children alike.
Please join us in making life a little sweeter for these local families!
Our Family Fun Day will include children's activities, music, a family fun run (1 mile) and a 5k around Back Cove. We hope to see you there!
8:00am - race registration opens
8:30am - 1 mile family fun run begins
9:00am - 5k begins
10:30 - awards ceremony
Family activities continue until noon
