New Vision 5K

The New Vision 5K Run/Walk exists to support New Vision Charter School, a public school in the Thompson School District.  It's main purpose is to provide our staff and students with wellness opportunities throughout the school year.  The Wellness program educate our students on how to make healthy choices throughout their lives, through good nutrition and exercise.  

 The Wellness Committee has provided lots of fun wellness activities for our students and staff.  4th grade got flexible seating.  We have also purchased a tower garden, and a class set of drumfit equipment.  This year we are trying to help fund a PE interactive projector called the Lu that will be in the new gym.  We have also offered wellness calendar challenges each month trying to get kids and families to focus on different healthy aspects.

Race goes around Equalizer and Houts Lakes.  8am
