Green Wave Virtual Solidarity Run Race Description
AFSCME Council 32 members are spread far and wide across this great state, and not everyone can make it to a designated spot on a designated day to participate in solidarity building events. So, we are holding a VIRTUAL fun run/walk 5k! That means we set a date for the "race", but participants can complete the 5k whenever and however they choose. Participants will be encouraged to share photos from their own run/walk and competitive folks may want to share their times - just for fun. After the official race day, participants will receive their fabulous medal in the mail! That's all there is to it, sign up, pay the entrance fee, and take your 5k walk or run whenever you want to. You get a fabulous medal to show off and you've helped fund AFSCME Council 32's PEOPLE program.
