The fifth annual EYE RUN, a fundraiser and eye health community education event, will be Sunday, October 8 at 12:00 PM at Holmes Lake Park in Lincoln, NE.
There will be onsite registration for walkers or runners. Packet pickup opens at 12:00 PM near the START/FINISH line. Watch for the balloon arch!
In addition to the fun run/walk, the EYE RUN will have informational booths and activities for the whole family. Proceeds support free programs and services for people who are blind. Event host: Christian Record Services for the Blind.
What is the EYE RUN?
The EYE RUN is an event for the entire family. Eye health is important to everyone, yet many of us rarely think about what we can do to protect our vision. Participants and guests will learn about eye health, safety, and other facts related to vision. Why? The sight you save may be your own! Funds raised will support services and programs provided by Christian Record Service for the Blind.
Additionally, the EYE RUN welcomes participation from local businesses, agencies, and organizations that work with and support people who are blind. Many of these groups will have information at event-day booths and can answer questions regarding support services for friends or family members who are learning to live with blindness.
Do you know someone who is legally blind who would like to participate in the EYE RUN? Christian Record is pleased to offer complimentary registration to people who are blind and their sighted guides. Please contact Jeri Lyn at 402-488-0981 x213 to receive a complimentary registration code.
