This year, we will be doing a VIRTUAL 5K!
Simply register through this website by completing the registration form and submitting payment online. Entries are available by paying cash in person by coordinating with us via phone or e-mail.
After registering, download your favorite run mapping app (We recommend Map My Run) on your smartphone.
The weekend of the race, run your 5k at your leisure, take a screen shot of your completed run, or a photo of your completed workout from the treadmill, and send it to us at CareFund@capeair.com, Tweet it to @ourcarefund, or post it on our Facebook group and we will include you in our global awards consideration and send you a participation certificate.
Want to win a prize? Complete the run anytime between Friday, May 19th at 12am EST and Sunday, May 21st at 11:59pm EST. Prizes will be awarded in several categories - including walkers and runners.

The CARE Fund was established in 2011 to provide financial relief to Cape Air Employees who have experienced a hardship beyond their control. Over the past five years, grants have been awarded to families who have lost their homes due to natural disasters, who have experienced a severe illness or lost a family member, or encountered other financial crises. Nearly every penny of every dollar donated goes directly towards providing grants to applicants. We are one of the most donation-efficient charities in the United States.
Whether you're an avid runner, an intense athlete, or a humble couch potato, lift your fingers and invite your friends and family to participate in a fun, laid back 5k to support a wonderful, unique cause!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Sure! Just be sure to give us as much advance notice as possible. All you need to do is send us an e-mail explaining the circumstances and providing the name of the person who will be participating.
