Race for a Safer Cure Description

Walk for a safer cure offered by LIFE FUNdamentals, partnered with TVC Holistics is a remarkable event that promotes health and wellness while raising funds to support natural homeopathic remedies and lifestyle changes to fight against cancer. This year, the race will take place in September and will feature an approximate 3 mile walk around the Charles River in Cambridge and Boston with a donation of $25, which will go towards research, marketing, and distribution of natural holistic practices to combat cancer.

The race was established in 2017 in honor of Aaliyah, a beloved member of LIFE FUNdmanetals who overcame cancer. The race aims to address the problem of harmful chemicals found in food and body products that can increase the risk of cancer.

Participants in the race will have the opportunity to contribute to an important cause while engaging in physical activity and enjoying the company of others who share their commitment to a healthier lifestyle. After the race, participants and their families can enjoy a celebration of life with vendors, music, games, and other activities that promote community spirit and well-being.

Overall, the race for a safer cure is an inspiring event that raises awareness about the importance of natural remedies and lifestyle changes in the fight against cancer. It is an opportunity for individuals to come together to support a worthy cause and celebrate life, health, and wellness.

This race was inspired by a young girl named Aaliyah who's smile shines brighter than the fight she stood against. May 2017 she was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. With this diagnoses came along the possible treatments, chemo therapy was the immediate decision for treatment. The leader of LIFE FUNdamentals youth ran organization began researching information to combat and effectively overcome cancer. Many treatments involved diet change, vitamins, and life style change. This race and spark of curiosity was the starting point of TVC Holistics.

Doctors have proclaimed there isn't enough sufficient research on alternative medicine and holistic medicine. We are running to change that. We will use the funding to research, study, prepare and distribute information to change care, diet, and life style as we battle cancer. A holistic healthy lifestyle has been shown to improve life, this run will better ourselves and the community. As the one who inspired, encourages, and sees the positive outcome of these ideas Aaliyah has created a never ending ripple of positive change.

let’s walk , run or volunteer to help this great cause that effects us all
