Race For A Safer Cure NY

This race is inspired by a young girl named Aaliyah who's smile shines brighter than the fight she stood against. May 2017 she was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. With this diagnoses came along the possible treatments. Chemo therapy was the immediate decision for treatment. The family of Aaliyah began researching as much information as they could find. Many treatments involved diet change, vitamins, and all around life style change. Doctors have proclaimed there isn't enough sufficient research on alternative medicine and holistic medicine. We are running to change that. We will use the funding to research prepare and distribute a manual on the change in care, diet, and life style as we battle cancer. As the one who inspired, encourages, and sees the positive outcome of these ideas and the world she is who we will run for.
