What Can I Do?
Within Kansas City, Troost Avenue has historically represented the dividing line between the racial and socio-economic classes. Although just a paved road, it represents boundaries within our community.
​On September 29, 2018 Race2Unite will provide an opportunity to spark hope, love, and unity amongst all races as we unite together for a run down Troost Avenue. We will be hosting our 3rd annual 5K run titled, Race 2 Unite KC followed by a Hope Fest in Theis Park. The 5K run will proceed down Troost Avenue, and will be the first of its kind. This event will serve as a platform to connect our community to local churches and community organizations. Our focus is to leverage the influence of the church to engage in a run down Troost and “Conquer the Divide.”

“Position the activity of run/walking as an instrument for racial reconciliation within major cities across the nation.”
Mission:
“Identify the dominant racial divide line, and Conquer The Divide in biblical love, through the influence of the local church, community organizations, and corporations.”
